Meet Louis

Louis Magniccari is a professional dog trainer and behavior specialist with over 15 years of hands-on experience helping NYC dog owners solve behavior problems and create lasting change with their dogs.

He began his career working in a doggie daycare, where he quickly recognized that many dogs needed more than just exercise—they needed structured guidance, clear communication, and skilled leadership. This realization led him to attend and graduate from the prestigious Triple Crown Academy (now Starmark Academy), where he studied advanced obedience, behavior modification, and the real-world application of canine learning theory.

In 2012, Louis founded Ace Pet Services, which offered behavior training and enrichment-based boarding. In 2025, the business evolved into Magnetic Dog Training — a new chapter focused on individualized coaching, behavioral assessment, and practical results that work for busy city dog owners.

In addition to his private work, Louis partners with local rescue organizations, including Rescue City and Badass Animal Rescue, where he supports dogs and adopters through pre-adoption evaluations, post-adoption training, and behavior coaching to ensure lasting matches and successful transitions into home life.

Louis uses a structured, behavior-first approach that brings clarity to even the most confusing cases. Drawing from trusted tools like the Dunbar Bite Scale and behavior severity frameworks he’s refined over years in the field, he helps dog owners understand what’s driving their dog’s behavior—and exactly what to do next.
