The Magnetic Approach
There are two ends of the leash. I focus on both of them. A dog that only listens when there's a treat in your hand, or only listens for the trainer, isn't trained yet. So I coach you to lead, in plain language and without judgment, until you can get the same results I can when I'm not standing there.
We start with a plan built around your dog, your goals, and your actual life. From the first session, you'll have real tools you can use where the behavior actually happens: on the sidewalk, in the elevator, at the park, not just in a quiet living room.
Leash reactivity, pulling, fear, resource guarding, aggression, a brand-new puppy, a newly adopted rescue, or just wanting to enjoy your dog again. Wherever you're starting, I'll meet you there and leave you more confident than I found you.
“Louis is absolutely FANTASTIC! In just two sessions, we went from overwhelmed to confident handling our young pitbull’s reactivity. He’s not only a master trainer, but also an incredible coach for dog owners.”

MEET LOUIS
MEET LOUIS
I got into dog training because I loved two things: helping people and figuring dogs out.
I've been training professionally for more than 15 years, and what I've learned is that the dog is only half the equation. The person on the other end of the leash matters just as much.
I treat my clients like capable adults.
My job isn't to judge you, talk down to you, or make you dependent on me. It's to understand what you're dealing with, give you clear direction, and help you become more confident handling your dog yourself.
I also work closely with local rescues including Rescue City and Badass Animal Rescue. I have enormous respect for the fosters who take dogs into their homes and do the hard work of giving them another chance. Being able to support them is one of my favorite parts of the job.
I'm a graduate of Starmark Academy, but credentials are only part of it. I genuinely love figuring dogs out, helping people understand them, and giving both ends of the leash the confidence to move forward!
